Treat dad to a Father’s Day meal! Plenty of Chicago Southland restaurants are offering special packages, either for dine-in or take-out.

Impress dad with your grill skills this Father’s Day with a heat and serve meal from Cooper’s Hawk Winery & Restaurant. Meal kits include pretzel bread and butter, classic tomato bruschetta, four 8 oz. filets (with Chef Matt McMillin’s special seasoning), four baked potatoes with toppings, asparagus and lemon pound cake for dessert. Ashford House Restaurant and the attached Winston’s Market in Tinley Park will be offering two different Father’s Day BBQ packages. Package #1 serves five and will be fully cooked (and hot!) upon pick-up. This package includes Winston’s BBQ ribs, double baked potatoes, creamy coleslaw, Caesar salad and rolls for $125. If you’re up for some grilling, try Package #2, which will be sold raw. This package includes eight 6 oz. pub burgers and buns, American cheese, six Italian sausages and buns, three pounds of potato salad and three pounds of Italian pasta salad for $65. Chuck’s Southern Comforts Cafe in Burbank will be hosting a special Father’s Day dining experience this year. Breakfast will be served from 8:00 AM to 11:30 AM. Dine on a delicious “Soul Food Sunday” meal at Culture in Homewood! Enjoy a special Father’s Day edition of brunch or dinner for $29.95 per person ($12.95 for diners 12 and under). Enjoy a Father’s Day brunch at Vintrendi Wine Company in Park Forest. Stop by Tinley Junction Miniature Golf and Batting Cages in Tinley Park this Father’s Day for a free round of golf for dad. Dads, grandpas and uncles all golf free with a paid round of golf!

Dads can also enjoy a free round of mini golf on Father’s Day at Haunted Trails Family Amusement Park & Picnics in Burbank! This offer is valid for all dads or grandfathers visiting with their children or grandchildren. Don’t forget to try out all of the other fun activities at Haunted Trails, like go-karts and batting cages!

Spend the weekend with dad at Monee Reservoir in Monee! All fathers will receive a free container of bait to enjoy shoreline fishing.

At Plum Creek Nature Center in Beecher, the family can enjoy a dad-kid challenge. Everyone who successfully completes the challenge will score a free prize for dad. This event is free, and no registration is required. While you’re at the nature center, check out the trails and explore some beautiful forestry!

Catch a concert with dad! In Orland Park, enjoy the Concert in the Park featuring Classical Blast. Bring your blankets, lawn chairs and a picnic and enjoy the music from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM. The concert will take place at Crescent Park (9705 West 142nd Street). On Breidert Green (Kansas Street and Ash Street) in Frankfort, enjoy the sounds of Grand Illusion, a Styx cover band, from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM. Take a stroll with dad at Sand Ridge Nature Center in South Holland during their Wellness in the Woods: Summer Solstice Stretch event.
