Farmers Markets in Chicago Southland

One of my favorite reasons to visit farmers markets whenever I travel is to experience something I can't find at a big chain store. Whether that means eating a tamale made from the local farmer's produce in Tinley Park, trying a plum for the first time in Oak Lawn, watching a food demonstration in Orland Park or taking home Aunt Bee's Homemade Beets from Homewood, there is something about spending the day at the farmers markets in Chicago Southland that just brings out your happy!
