In the Chicago Southland, you’ll find a number of venues that will welcome your pet - from hotels where they can snuggle up with you to breweries where you can kick back on the patio with your best friend by your side to trails for exercising together.*

Special Events

The village of Monee hosts an annual Pooch-A-Palooza event with games, treats and vendors with free admission annually in August.

Dog Days of Summer is hosted by Flossmoor Station Restaurant & Brewery on Thursday evenings during the summer on the Old Caboose deck.

Farmer’s Markets take place throughout the Chicago Southland in the summer months. Most of these outdoor markets welcome your pets.

Paws with Claus is a family-pet photo opportunity that takes place in Frankfort in December.

Pet-Palooza takes place in Orland Park in September including a pet contest in the days leading up to the event and featuring more than 75 pet-friendly businesses and organizations with available adoptions, pet products and free samples.
