Bonk will utilize social media and e-marketing platforms in conjunction with other media to market the Chicago Southland as a unique, convenient and affordable destination. She will also plan and execute a variety of Chicago Southland CVB special events, activities and publications as well as serving as a community liaison.

Bonk comes to the CVB from Good Shepherd Center where she worked as a Development Director. Before that she was with Park Lawn Association as a Marketing Manager. Bonk graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Communications from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale.

“I look forward to increasing engagement and reach with potential visitors through all of our social media channels,” said Bonk. “With such a great variety of attractions, festivals, restaurants and hotels, we have an incredible destination for all types of visitors.”

The Chicago Southland Convention & Visitors Bureau is the official destination management and marketing organization for Chicago’s 62 south and southwest suburbs.
