Juston Teach was recently hired by the Chicago Southland Convention & Visitors Bureau as the Communications Manager. In his new position, Teach is responsible for developing communications strategies that will provide positive exposure to the Chicago Southland.
Teach comes to the CVB from Suburban Landscaping in Chicago Heights, Ill. where he worked as a communications specialist. Before that, he spent time as a freelance multimedia journalist with the Sun Times Media Group. Teach, a native of Homewood, Ill. graduated with a Bachelors of Arts in Communications from Purdue University Calumet.
“I look forward to promoting the 62 municipalities in the Chicago Southland as a destination,” said Teach. “To be a part of such an outstanding tourism team that is dedicated to economic growth through tourism is what attracted me to the CVB.”
“Juston is a great addition to our already strong marketing team,” said President/CEO Jim Garrett of the Chicago Southland CVB. “His drive and passion for media and communications will allow our communications and public relations programs to take the next step and attract more visitors to the Chicago Southland.”
The Chicago Southland Convention & Visitors Bureau is the official destination management and marketing organization for Chicago’s 62 south and southwest suburbs. The CVB markets the Southland region as a leisure, meetings and conventions, group tour and sports event destination.
