Lansing, Ill. – If you’re ready for sun and adventure, then this guide is all the information you will need for a spring and summer of nonstop fun! The 2018 Spring/Summer Festivals & Events Guide is chock full of everything the warm weather brings and highlights the best of the Chicago Southland.

Our 40 pages will take you all the way through October for endless weeks of activities and jam-packed weekends. There is a monthly activities list to keep you on track, so you won’t miss a beat and the guide features fun and excitement including parades, farmers markets, festivals, concerts, sports and everything in between.

In addition to favorite festivals like Gaelic Park Irish Fest and Frankfort Fall Fest, the Chicago Southland will host 20 sporting events throughout the spring/summer season. A few you may want to catch include the 39^th Annual World Wiffle Ball Championship on July 14 – 15, in Midlothian and the Ultimate USA Dodgeball Championship on August 2 – 5 at Sky Zone in Orland Park. For the first time in the Chicago area, Spartan Stadium Series Sprint will be at Toyota Park, in Bridgeview. Scheduled race day is Saturday, October 20, with two “waves” of activity one being in the morning and one in the afternoon.
