Lansing, Ill. - Over 200 festivals and events await you in the Chicago Southland this winter and spring. The new November 2012 - April 2013 Chicago Southland Festivals & Events Guide highlights many winter events and spring festivals in the 62 communities of the Chicago Southland.
Popular events in the guide include several holiday celebrations like the Tinley Park Holiday Market at the Oak Park Avenue Train Station November 30th to December 2nd, Holiday Magic at Brookfield Zoo December 1st-23rd & 26th-31st and Christmas at the Brewery December 23rd at Flossmoor Station Restaurant & Brewery. For a slice of the Iditarod race in our own backyard, take a short ride to the Monee Reservoir and check out the annual Musher Mania event on January 12, 2013. Mark your calendars to celebrate the Irish heritage of the region at the Oak Forest Fleadh on March 9, 2013. With many of these events offering free admission, there is something for every family.
The Festivals & Events guides are distributed by the Chicago Southland Convention & Visitors Bureau outside our region in response to visitor inquiries, web and leisure advertising, public relations efforts, and at various visitor information centers in Illinois.
